The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC), as ground managers of the MCG, welcomes the AFL's announcement of the dates and times of Rounds 12-15 of the 2022 AFL Premiership Season.
The Round 13 line-up headlines the newly announced fixture, which includes Essendon's 150th celebrations, and the annual Big Freeze at the 'G match on Queen's Birthday, raising funds for Fight MND.The middle of Round 13 also sees the MCG transformed into a rectangular field for the Superclasico match between Brazil and Argentina on Saturday June 11.
Round 14 sees the rematch of the opening round game between Richmond and Carlton, with Carlton looking to make it two from two against the 2020 premiers, before Round 15 sees a mouth-watering match-up first-placed Melbourne and third-placed Brisbane Lions.
Announcements regarding ticket on-sale dates for these matches, as well as the fixture for the remaining games of the 2022 Premiership Season will be made in due course.
