Rugby themed MCG Tours

The Wallabies are returning to the MCG for the first time since 2007, hosting the All Blacks on July 29 for the first Test of the 2023 Bledisloe Cup. This will be the Wallabies’ last game on home soil before heading off to the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France later this year.

Rugby fans can discover behind the scenes of the MCG ahead of the Bledisloe Cup, with rugby themed MCG Tours on Saturday July 29. The tour will provide visitors the opportunity to hear stories of the iconic MCG and see how it’s been transformed to a rugby pitch for the highly anticipated Trans-Tasman clash. Tours will depart every 15 minutes between 10.00am-2.00pm.

Additionally, fans can visit the Australian Sports Museum to discover items such as John Eales’ Bledisloe Cup jersey and to learn more about some of Australia’s greatest sporting moments. The Australian Sports Museum will be open from 10.00am-5.00pm on Saturday 29 July.

Please note that due to event preparations, the tour route will not include the following areas:
  • Player change rooms
  • Media and broadcasting areas
