Located on Level B1 of the Great Southern Stand (at approximately M13), the room is able to cater for more than 50 patrons at one time, and is suitable for patrons of all faiths including Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Hindu.
Replacing a previous smaller space in the Ponsford Stand, the new Multi-Faith Prayer Room is accessible for all patrons from across the stadium, regardless of where they are seated.
Located at Gate 3 inside the MCG, the Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.
For this match, the Museum is open form 11.30am- 12.55pm.

In 2022, the process for entry into the MCG will take longer than usual. To ensure you are inside the MCG in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.Download your seat ticket prior to your arrival at the MCG. COVID-19 Vaccination Condition of Entry
In line with the Victorian Government health directives for major events at the MCG, entry will only be granted to fully vaccinated patrons. Patrons must also check-in to the MCG upon entry via QR code using the Service Victoria App. Patrons 18 years and over must provide proof of vaccination status and proof of check-in.For further information, click here.

COVIDSafe Measures
COVIDSafe settings will be in place throughout the MCG, so please play your role and follow these simple directions:- Clean hands. Please remember to wash or sanitise your hands regularly, using one of the MCG’s installed 275 Dettol hand sanitisation stations throughout the Ground.
- Know when it’s time to bow out. If you have COVID-19 symptoms or have been advised to get tested by a contact, workplace or school, please get tested and isolate until you get a negative result.
- Protect the head. Pack a fitted face mask, as masks are strongly recommended in areas where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
- Stay at least a couple of cricket bat’s length apart. For good measure, please stay 1.5 metres from one another.
