Curtain Raiser - VFL Carlton v Collingwood
The AFL Premiership Season will end with a bang on Sunday August 21 with a VFL curtain raiser to be held between Carlton and Collingwood from 11.45am before the AFL match kicks off at 3.20pm.
One ticket will permit entry to both matches.
Arrive early
To ensure you are inside the MCG in time for the match start, arrive early and leave plenty of time for the entry process.
Download your ticket prior to your arrival at the MCG. To gain entry into the match, scan your digital ticket at the turnstiles.
General Admission Seating
Please note, there will be no general admission tickets available for this match, and therefore no general admission seating.
AFL Reserve tickets for this match are sold out. The match is a fully ticketed event, no further tickets will be released.

The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service
The G-Train Mobility Shuttle Service operates during public events held at the MCG.
The service is free and accessible to patrons with mobility challenges and in 2022, the G-Train will also feature vehicles with wheelchair-friendly access.
Pre-booking is not required; simply wait at a designated pick up point for the next available buggy. The service has pick up points from the following locations:
- Richmond Station
- Jolimont Station
- Accessible Parking Area

Metro Trains Planned Disruptions
Buses replace trains on sections of the Sunbury, Werribee and Williamstown lines this weekend.
- Passengers should allow extra time when travelling to and from the MCG.
- Please be aware after the game there may be increased congestion and delays getting onto the platforms at Richmond station.
- Passengers are advised to return to where they got off the bus prior to the game.
There will be additional tram services along Route 70 and Route 75 between the MCG and Flinders Street station. There will also be 22 extra train services through Richmond and Jolimont stations and V/Line will be running additional train services on the Geelong Line with increased capacity.
