MCG opens first All Gender Bathroom

This round will see the opening of the MCG’s first All Gender Bathroom, located on Level B1 of the Ponsford Stand.

This bathroom, which consists of six private cubicles including one ambulant cubicle, will open for the first time for Saturday’s Round 6 match between Collingwood and Port Adelaide.

The bathroom can be used by everyone, regardless of gender, as part of the MCG’s commitment to creating a more inclusive environment for all patrons coming to the stadium.

In addition to the All Gender Bathroom, the MCG has also refurbished multiple Parents’ Room around the stadium to create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for families accessing the rooms.

The rooms include change tables built into the benchtops, new feeding cubicles with curtains, feeding chairs and side tables, taps with instant hot and cold water and pin pad locks on doors, ensuring the rooms are only accessed by those needing these facilities.
