Directly behind the Punt Road end goals, the Lock Up Bar is named after its location within the old stadium police cells of the 'G.
Located in the Shane Warne Stand on B1, this space was previously used as the match day police cells for 16 years to manage troublesome patrons throughout events. Walk through the original cell doors into a contemporary bar, stand behind replica police waiting lines but instead of being processed, choose from the extensive range of beers and beverages whilst watching the sport via our new digital screens.
The Lock-Up is also unique in serving full-strength beer available in glass, provided you remain inside the bar to drink! Footy legends Russell Robertson and Billy Brownless put the bar to the test in 2015, watch footage of their visit here.
