MCG to host two games in Round 20

Update – Saturday July 31: The MCG will now host now two games in Round 20 of the 2021 AFL Premiership Season, after the Essendon v Sydney Swans match was relocated from Metricon Stadium, due to Queensland Government enacting a three-day snap lockdown in South-East Queensland.

The AFL has now announced the match will now be played at the MCG on Sunday August 1, commencing at 3.10pm.

This is in addition to the previously-scheduled Collingwood v West Coast Eagles match, commencing today – Saturday July 31, at 4.15pm.

Both matches will remain to be played without crowds in line with this week’s announcement from the Victorian Government.
