The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC), as ground managers of the MCG, advises of an update to this weekend's AFL Round 11 fixture at the MCG, following the Victorian Government's announcement of a seven-day circuit breaker lockdown to contain the state's recent COVID-19 outbreak.
The AFL has announced an updated fixture for Round 11 of the AFL Premiership Season, which includes matches scheduled to be played in Victoria now taking place without crowds.The Richmond v Adelaide Crows match previously scheduled to take place at the MCG on Sunday May 30 has been moved to Sydney to assist the Adelaide Crows' travel back into their home state of South Australia.
The Collingwood and Geelong Cats match due to be played at the MCG on Saturday May 29 will continue as scheduled, without crowds in attendance.
