July 2021 UpdateFrom Thursday July 29, the Australian Sports Museum will re-open to the public, operating between 10.00am – 5.00pm.
The Australian Sports Museum will open to allow 100 people in the Museum at any one time, in line with the latest Victorian Government public health guidelines.
Tickets for the Australian Sports Museum need to be pre-booked to assist with capacity management and contact tracing. MCC Members receive a 20 per cent discount for the Australian Sports Museum.
The MCG Shop will also re-open, trading in line with the opening hours of the Australian Sports Museum.
This is no ordinary museum. From interactive exhibits to sporting challenges, there’s so much to experience at the Australian Sports Museum. Discover touchscreens, climbable objects and crowd favourite Game On, where you can put your own skills to the test.
The Australian Sports Museum also features a number of special faces sharing first-hand accounts of their sporting story.
A highlight amongst these are life-size 3D holograms of dual AFL Premiership and Richmond Star Bachar Houli and Carlton AFLW Star Tayla Harris.
